Royal Wedding

Hi guys.
As a lot of you are aware, I'm from England, therefore I will be watching the Royal Wedding on Friday. Since most users on this forum are American, I'm just wondering if you guys will be watching it? I've heard that Americans will have to pay to watch it. The wedding is of the Prince of England (who is also heir to the throne, meaning he is future King of England) to his long term girlfriend Kate Middleton (who once married to the Prince, will be a future Queen).

To be honest, Purple, no-one cares... Only the American's and the Royals do.. Americans only care because they don't have a Royal Family, and the Royals cares because it's their family...
Most English are using it as an excuse to drink really.. (Sorry for mentioning drinking, but it's true...)

I'm mainly interested because I have never seen (and remembered) any of the royal weddings taken place in the United Kingdom. I would love to see it, however, school has come into play and I am unable to watch it. I would give much to travel to the United Kingdom itself and see it.

Risa_san1 you are right to an extent.
But the wedding was SIMPLY AMAZING!!!
Kate looked so beautiful and the whole ceremony was simply breathtaking! Feel so proud to be British at the moment.

No, it was boring. I also do not care about it, so did not watch it.
Was drooling over pictures of Kates sister...

Also, I really don't like how Kate looks.. o.O

apparantly because she wasnt elizabeths kid she cant be anything but elizabeths sons will become kings thats what someone told me anyway

She can become Queen consort, which means she will be the spouse of the King, but she can never actually rule because being Queen/King is a job you're born to have, if you're in the family.

That's the best way I can explain, lol

Yeah she will become a Queen if Prince William becomes a King. She just wont have the power like her husband does.

That is entirely wrong, of course she can be something. She is already a Duchess, the Duchess of Cambridge to be precise. If she's married into the Royal Family, of course she is going to be something. She is technically also a princess, but the Queen deemed the title 'Duchess of Cambridge' more suitable for her. Smile
